The role:

· Electrical function test and mechanical pressure testing of inhouse manufactured chemical dosing systems. The electrical function testing involves setting up of associated instruments including chemical dosing pumps, magnetic flow meters, pressure sensors, level switches etc. prior to carrying out full operational check of the working system. The mechanical testing involves hydrostatic test checking for leaks and to assess the structural integrity of the associated tubing and pipelines.

The Person:

· Ability to read & understand electrical schematics (essential)

· Experience in wiring control systems

Shift Process Operators

Due to an increase in orders from key customers we are looking for process operators who will be responsible for production of a range of cosmetic and food additive products. Duties will include setting up equipment, operating the equipment, checking the quality of the produce, and packing the products. The packaging will vary but includes 10KG boxes and 25Kg sacks. The job will be varied because will be working in a number of systems with different product.

 

We are approved to ISO 9002 and EfFCI (cosmetic standard).

 

Full training will be given on all systems, and enthusiastic candidates can progress to the next pay grade quickly. The job does include manual handling.

 

We are looking for reliable and dedicated people who can hit realistic targets, are good communicators and work with minimal supervision once trained.

The shift will rotate weekly from 6am – 2pm to 10pm-6am to 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday.

Position is permanent following a successful 3 month probationary period.

The person should have experience in either the manufacture and/or the installation of Electrical Distribution Switchboards together with the requirements of Health and Safety for site operations.

An electrical engineering/technical qualification together with an valid ECS certificate would be a distinct advantage.

The ability to work unsupervised and to be able to supervise others is a prerequisite for this position as is a clean UK driving licence.
