In this role, you will be creating and uploading product summaries and product content onto our
live websites. Our customers will see your writing and content as they visit the website to

Due to an increase in orders from key customers we are looking for process operators who will be responsible for production of a range of cosmetic and food additive products. Duties will include setting up equipment, operating the equipment, checking the quality of the produce, and packing the products. The packaging will vary but includes 10KG boxes and 25Kg sacks. The job will be varied because will be working in a number of systems with different product.

 

We are approved to ISO 9002 and EfFCI (cosmetic standard).

 

Full training will be given on all systems, and enthusiastic candidates can progress to the next pay grade quickly. The job does include manual handling.

 

We are looking for reliable and dedicated people who can hit realistic targets, are good communicators and work with minimal supervision once trained.

What the role entails:

Working as part of our Warehouse team, you will ensure that both Inbound and Outbound deliveries are dealt with efficiently, and orders are dispatched correctly so that our products arrive with the customer on time and in full.

Ideal candidate skills and requirements:

Experience of working in a Warehouse or Despatch environment is essential, as well as an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

FLT Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences are desirable, although full training will be given to the successful candidates.

You will need to work flexibly and have a customer service oriented “can do” approach.

Your working hours will equate to a 40-hour week, worked according to the following schedule:

Weeks 1 & 2
08:00 – 16:30 (with 2x 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Weeks 3 & 4
09:00 – 18:00 (with 2x 15-minute paid breaks and a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Workshop UKAS Technician

Company: GEMCO

Purpose of Role:
To support the UKAS Laboratory/Workshop Manager in maintaining schedule of works for calibration,
testing and repairs on electrical and electronic equipment. UKAS emissions calibrations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
• UKAS emissions calibrations and repairs
• Technical support to field engineers
• Resolving customer warranty calls
• Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on electrical and electronic
equipment to ensure these meet performance and quality standard
• Process results through system for accurate calibration reports, documents, and certificates
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Assisting UKAS lab technician
• Other adhoc tasks necessary to support the business including Warehouse Operations and
Equipment Pre Delivery Inspection.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Calibration and repair to schedule (KPI backlog report)

Reports To:
• UKAS Laboratory Manager

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
• UKAS accredited engineer for emissions
• Formal electronics qualification, Btec, C&G.
• Able to understand and following procedures and work instructions, working to specified
standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and customer focussed
• Works well in a team environment
• Able to use own initiative
• Strong organisational & problem-solving
• Excellent levels of communication at all levels, both internally and externally
• IT literacy in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
