Cheshire Vehicle Windows Ltd  have a vacancy for a part time office administrator. The hours are  approximately  4 hours a day  between 9am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday depending on availability, preferably who does not need to have the school holidays off and possibly cover additional hours when required to cover other employees leave.

The duties are taking telephone calls, filing, organisation and data inputting into sage, good computer skills with some web knowledge and excel knowledge too! This role could expand to full time and develop into a sales account role if the right person had the commitment to learn what we do and want to look for a new career.

This part time role would be offered at £8 per hour.

Logistics Operative

ASM are the IT channel experts in the rationalisation of non-core and non-focus hardware, software & services.

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative to assist at our IT logistics centre on Winsford Industrial Estate.

Through the guidance and leadership of the Warehouse Manager, you will be expected to assist in various warehouse & goods handling processes – including (but not limited to):

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensure incoming goods received are checked against the specific order details and the data is accurately entered according to our Microsoft Dynamics NAV system and procedures.
  • Identify and conduct as and when necessary product quality checks against the set reference standards.
  • Identify, isolate and record the details of any faulty goods that are received, communicating the information to the warehouse manager or nominated representative immediately.
  • Physically locate goods into designated locations, recording all data onto the NAV System.
  • Store goods by natural grouping / family type products.
  • Select goods as per agreed schedules.
  • Ensure goods to be despatched are checked according to company’s specifications and are delivered as per agreed schedules.

MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS APPRENTICE x10

Who are Coveris?  Well, ‘You will find us in your fridge!!’ We specialise in the design & manufacture of innovative food packaging solutions e.g. cardboard packaging, label packaging & film packaging.  At the Winsford site we manufacture film on the reel packaging for a wide variety of industries.

Following successful Apprenticeships in our Engineering department we are pleased to announce our plans to recruit 10 Apprentices in the Blown Film department.  This is a huge commitment for the site & we hope it will elevate our status as an Employer of Choice within the local area & assist with succession planning & retention within the Blown department.

THE ROLE

The Apprenticeship covers a 12-14 month training period during which the Apprentice will broadly, but not exclusively: –

Work to gain a QCF/NVQ Level 2 nationally recognised qualification through following Operational Modules within the Apprenticeship framework

Complete a minimum of 20% of off the job training

Experience the full range of blown film extruders, to consistently & efficiently process blown film products

Have real accountability & ownership through periods of machine minding, under the direction of an experienced Operator

Carry out their duties to meet all health, safety & hygiene standards together with behavioural standards in line with the sites Objectives & Values

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL

Be a minimum of 18 years of age

Ideally, but not essentially, have worked in a manufacturing environment/have had previous work experience as part of a team

Demonstrate a hunger to learn, complete studies & be ambitious to forge a career in Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting for Extrusion Operators within our Blown Film Manufacturing Unit.

The role involves the operation of high speed, high volume production lines to manufacture polythene film within tight customer specifications.

Candidates will ideally have a background in manufacturing, and experience of shift working, together with a commitment to team working and to producing a high-quality product.

The role is shift based, working two days and two nights, 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am, followed by four rest days (an average of 42 hours per week). Salary is £22,620 per annum.  There are also opportunities for those who have the potential to progress, to earn up to £27,594.35 per annum, through the development of skills and experience.
