Winsford Industrial Estate BID 5 will be going to ballot during November/December 2025. Your vote is crucial to sustain the benefits and investments implemented during the current BID term and will allow us to continue to improve Winsford Industrial Estate for a further 5 years. BID 5 will see an investment of over £800k for Winsford Industrial Estate over the term of the BID if successful at ballot which will fund projects relating to security, estate aesthetics and business support.

About the Ballot

Any business that pays business rates on Winsford Industrial Estate will have the opportunity to vote on whether to accept or reject the proposal for Winsford Industrial Estate BID 5. Businesses that occupy more than one hereditament will receive a ballot paper for each hereditament they occupy.

The private ballot is conducted via post through a company called UK Engage – eligible businesses will receive a ballot paper through the post in an envelope marked with both the Winsford Industrial Estate BID and CWAC logos.

Send completed and signed ballot papers back via post in the freepost envelope provided (2nd class) – or alternatively contact [email protected] to arrange for your sealed ballot paper to be collected and couriered directly.

Ballot papers will be dispatched on Thursday 6th November 2025. If you do not receive a ballot paper within 7 days of this date – email [email protected].

The ballot closes on Thursday 4th December 2025 – all ballot papers must be received at UK Engage by this date to be counted.

The UKSPF Business Support Programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, supported by Cheshire West and Chester Council and 4 delivery partners.

The programme aims to support Cheshire West and Chester businesses to increase productivity by creating the conditions for businesses to start-up, scale-up and innovate and building a stronger business base which supports the Council’s sustainable and inclusive growth objectives. The UKSPF Business Support Programme is a mix of support activities, 121 guidance and grants for eligible businesses.
