St Lukes Hospice, based in Winsford, do tremendous work. The business community on the estate have an opportunity to assist them with the work they undertake and also, perhaps, have a little fun on the side by supporting and promoting a GO YELLOW DAY on Friday 27th June.
The idea is that we help to raise some funds by asking every employee to contribute £1 on Friday 27th June and that we will have in every office, factory, warehouse and workshop a collection box for depositing donations.
The fun bit is that you can perhaps raise awareness amongst staff by suggesting/bribing,cajoling,sponsoring/daring, etc, to wear a yellow garment on the fund raising day.
Donation boxes will be delivered to businesses on the estate by Mike Kelly and Karen Keeney from St Lukes.
Incidentally, you don't have to go yellow, neither do you have to accept a collection box, but it would be of great benefit to the hospice if the estate made a day of it.
