The 2007/08 survey report of companies across Winsford Industrial Estate is now available, click here to download the report. The report has found that the overall impact of the BID has increased in 2007/08 with an increase in companies reporting that the BID has had a beneficial impact on their business. The percentage of respondents reporting that; the estate is safer, has less litter/vandalism and companies feel they have benefited from the Winsford 1-5 Business Environment Group also increased in 2007/08.
The services provided by the Winsford 1-5 Group were reported as being excellent or good, with a particularly high rating, excellent, given by 89% of respondent to the performance of the Industrial Estate Manager. On the subject of crime and security there has been a slight increase in the number of companies who reported they felt vulnerable to crime, however this is countered by a slight decrease in the number of companies who reported having suffered any physical criminal damage in the last here years.
A further area for focus in 2008/09 relates to highway improvements, as this is the one area where companies are continuing to report significant issues. However, this is also an area that the BID has struggled to impact upon due to restrictions relating to improvements that can be permitted on or near highways.
