BID 3 Consultation Survey

Winsford Industrial Estate
provides companies and organisations with a good quality business environment from which to trade and operate. The development of the Industrial Estate to its current standard has been made possible through sustained investment by the resident businesses and the public sector over a number of years. Since 2006 this investment has been through a Business Improvement District (BID). BID2 was approved by companies through a confidential ballot in 2010 and lasts until March 2016.

In order to sustain the benefits from these investments and continue to improve the Industrial Estate, a proposal for a successor Business Improvement District (BID) is being developed to cover the period April 2016 – March 2021. This successor BID will be voted on by companies in the Autumn of 2015 and all companies that pay business rates will have the opportunity to vote on whether to accept or reject the proposal for the period 2016-2021.

If accepted, the successor BID will enable a further five year investment and maintenance programme to be implemented on Winsford Industrial Estate.

This consultation seeks to identify the type of issues your business faces as a resident on Winsford Industrial Estate and how a successor BID, BID 3 may support your company to grow and prosper. The results from this consultation will shape the size, direction and scale of the future plans for Winsford Industrial Estate; therefore it is vital that you respond if your company’s views are to be heard.

You can respond to the consultation by completing the survey on the link below. Taking no longer than 10 – 15 minutes to complete, responses will be treated as confidential and will not be attributed to any respondents without permission.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of this survey please contact Martin Humphreys or Jane Hough at Groundwork CLM on 01606 723175.

ALL RESPONSES MUST BE COMPLETED BY MONDAY 13th JULY 2015
